Income limits are determined based on the 2024 Federal Poverty Level (FPL). These limits increase with each additional dependent living with you whom you support. The income and asset limits on this chart are rounded to the nearest dollar. The Social Security Administration automatically subtracts a $20 income disregard from your monthly unearned income, which is included in the income limits provided.

Asset limits also account for $1,500 per person designated for burial expenses.

If you have a basic Part D drug plan with a premium at or below the Extra Help premium limit for your area, you won’t pay any premium.

If you are institutionalized or receive home and community-based services, you will have $0 copays.
