Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C, Is a an all-in-one plan that is another way to get your Medicare Benefits. They usually include drug coverage and additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare. 

Medicare Supplements, otherwise known as Medigap, are plans that pay for the portions of that you would normally pay.

Prescription Drug Plans, sometimes referred to as Part D plans, cover your prescription drugs. If you take a Medicare Advantage plan, in many cases will include drug coverage. If you take a Medigap, or stay on only Original Medicare; it is recommended that you take a Part D Plan to avoid future penalties.
